6" Seamless Gutters
"GUTTER REPLACEMENT IS A MAXIMUM VALUE HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT" - HGTV
The perception around gutters is one of the biggest misconceptions in Florida. Frequently, people don’t think they need gutters and it’s just something wealthy people do – that couldn’t be further from the truth. Installing gutters will save you time and money in landscaping, foundation issues that could occur, and rotted “Fascia” wood from not diverting the water off your roof carefully and down in the most convenient locations.
5″ Seamless gutters are obsolete and just not what’s recommended these days. 6″ is recommended because it can hold 1/3 more water as well as wider downspouts to prevent clogs/build up.
Siding (Hardie, Vinyl, Cedar)
Siding can be as unique as you want it to be
Our niche is James Hardie siding. It’s extremely durable, non-combustable, and hail resistant. It costs less than wood, it doesn’t attract pests, and is water resistant to protect against swelling, cracking, and mold damage. Not to mention it actually lowers the cost of your home-owners insurance. James Hardie siding definitely adds resale value to your home because their quality products are very well known.
The key is to make sure you choose a company who has experience with it and has done hundreds of houses, buildings, and structures, like us. We’ve been called often by other companies when their jobs went south fast and it’s not pretty. Experience is key, because it needs to be installed correctly for your home to get the 30 year warranty and 15 year warranty for trim that James Hardie provides. We offer all types of James Hardie lap siding, Board & Batten, and Straight & Staggered shakes. On many of our homes we’ve also done mixtures of the styles to bring about a more custom and aesthetically pleasing design.
Don’t want the increased cost of Fiber – Cement? We have years of experience installing vinyl siding as well. Vinyl siding you never have to repaint and it comes with a 25 year warranty. It comes in Board & Batten, Shakes, and the traditional lap siding.
Soffit & Fascia
vital home protection against all elements
Besides a finished look to your home, soffit and fascia are vital to protecting the exterior of your home from pests like bats, birds and squirrels, as well as give a way to disguise necessary “Roof/Attic” ventilation. Your soffit also keeps water from blowing into your house. Making sure your soffit and fascia are installed correctly and properly waterproofed is the best way to prevent problems down the road. Damaged flashing or gutters that don’t function properly can also create issues. It can cost $5,000 or more to repair damaged or rotted fascia and soffit boards, drywall and framing, etc.
Once a year when you clean and inspect your gutters, that’s the time to inspect your fascia and soffit for peeling paint and other problems. Keep everything well-painted, sealed and caulked. While soffit and fascia are traditionally constructed from materials like aluminum and wood, many homeowners are now choosing ones made from synthetic and composite materials like UPVC and vinyl because they offer easy maintenance and durability.
We offer Aluminum, Vinyl, James Hardie, and Wood Soffits.
