The most common type of screen used is an 18×14 standard mesh size. The screen is designed to keep out most insects and pests but wouldn’t be dense enough to keep out no-see-ums. If you want to be sure you keep them out, we would then recommend a 20×20 mesh screen. They also make screens engineered to block UV rays and heat retention. Just let us know your goal(s) and we’ll do our best to come up with the perfect screen room!
Surprisingly, they usually are but not all the time. Slope of the roof, overhang, type of fascia, slope of ground, and amount of rain are all aspects that need to be considered. In addition, just because the house didn’t have gutters on when you bought it, is not a guarantee that you do not need them. Builders frequently skip them to save costs and there’s a million reasons why a homeowner may not have had them on at time of purchase. If you think your house may need gutters, give us a call for a free estimate and we’ll bid them when we come out or be transparent if we don’t think you need them.
Yes, if you have damage that you need to turn in to your homeowner’s insurance please give us a call at 352-606-3770 to arrange a time. To be clear we will remove/replace entire screen rooms (aluminum included), gutter jobs, vinyl, hardie, shake siding, and soffit/fascia damage. We do not just replace screens.

We do not repair or install stucco siding. Our niche since we first started the business has always been James Hardie cement fiber products. But we also frequently install vinyl lap siding and cedar shakes.
